A young college student has a number of different options when choosing a potential major to focus their studies on for four years. Although there is no wrong choice per say, there are undoubtedly some majors that are more practical than others. Pleasantly Surprised

I was surprised how different accounting was from the other sections. Going into it I thought accounting would be pretty straightforward but it was the most challenging section for me. I’m glad I had this experience with UNC Business Essentials because otherwise I would have been pretty clueless in this area. I was surprised with how problem-free the system worked as well, because I have a slower internet connection than most. Despite this, I never had any problems with the website version. The Business Essentials program means business

Going into the Business Essentials program for the first time, I was under the impression I could sit down at my favorite Starbucks table and crank out a few units with ease. However, after completing the first two units I realize that the UBE program means business, which it very well should. As UBE students we are getting every bang for our buck. You cannot and should not trick yourself into thinking that this program is a piece of cake. Why? Because business is not a piece of cake!
