A couple months ago, I sat down at Starbucks with my laptop and a tall Passion Fruit Iced Tea Lemonade in hand, ready to knock out the first module of the UNC Business Essentials program. At the time, I thought the program would be a general overview of basic business concepts, something to get my feet wet in business terminology and principles. I found out pretty quickly that the UBE program was going to be a little more involved and in-depth than I had planned. Working, Interning, or Traveling, UBE Goes Wherever You Are
Looking back on the summer I spent completing the UNC Business Essentials coursework, a few things stick out in my mind that made the experience pleasant, useful and productive. The program was convenient to complete, packed with detailed and applicable information, and boosted my confidence as I approach graduation and entering the workforce. This sentiment was further reinforced as I made my way through the first Read More

I now know how important it is to really take the time to understand each of the modules and use the online tutors to your advantage. After completing the program, I also realize how important it is to have good note taking skills. Printing out the lesson guides and taking thorough notes really allows one to learn Read More
