My name is Lucy Emerson and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I am a senior at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Chinese. Due to my passion for studying international affairs as well as multiple languages, I have studied abroad in Italy, Egypt, Singapore, Thailand and China. At UNC, I am also involved in teaching English as a Second Language to adults and students in the community. In the future, I hope to work in the field of International Relations and Trade. By participating in the UNC Business Essentials program, I have learned a variety of skills that will undoubtedly assist me in being successful in my future endeavors and career.
