For starters, they both rely upon nature to provide an appropriate venue and therefore require special management strategies to mitigate biodiversity impacts. What do The Masters Tournament and The Coca-Cola Company have in common? Mozambikes: On the Road in Mozambique
from our sister blog: IMPACT, originally shared 12/15/11 Lauren Thomas (BSBA ’04) recently launched a social venture – Mozambikes – to bring affordable transportation to low income individuals in Mozambique. In a country where 50 percent live on less than $2 a day and close to 90 percent of the population is in the informal agriculture sector, bicycles can help people multiply their daily incomes. Mozambikes has already been recognized in a number of social business plan competitions – as a finalist in the Cartier Women’s Business Initiative in 2011, Read More
