A Conversation about Burt’s Bees’ Ambitious 2020 Sustainability Goals
It is with great enthusiasm that I’m looking forward to March 22 when I’ll be speaking with Burt’s Bees’ Director of Sustainability, Yola Carlough, and Steve Walker, Manager – Environmental Sustainability as part of the celebration of Green Week at UNC Kenan-Flagler. We’ll be discussing Burt’s Bees 2010 multimedia sustainability report, their ambitious 2020 Sustainability Goals, and how they plan to reach these. More specifically, I’m looking forward to learning details about the successes and challenges Burt’s Bees has encountered while endeavoring to implement 100% biodegradable packaging.
