I was born in Durham and I’m excited to be returning to the Triangle after eight years. Following an undergrad education at the University of Pennsylvania, which included a wonderful study abroad in Hong Kong and a not so wonderful experience with my finance, I left Penn and moved to New York City. During my two years in New York, I taught fifth and eighth grade history at a charter school in Brooklyn as a Teach for America corps member. After six long Northeast winters, I sought a warmer refuge and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. During my time in Phoenix, I began writing a blog detailing the high’s and low’s of being in one’s mid-twenties. I’m excited to be returning to writing, and excited to share my experience at UNC Kenan Flagler.
