My name is Brad Christmann, and I am a first year at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. I grew up in Silver Spring, MD (just outside Washington, DC), and I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006 with a B.S. in Commerce. After graduating from UVA, I gave grad school a try, studying advertising at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Adcenter. However, I quickly realized it wasn’t for me and joined Capital One, working in their brand marketing department for 3.5 years leading up to b-school.
I plan on continuing a career in marketing after graduation, and I’m currently involved in the Marketing Club and the Marketing Career Advisory Board. Outside of school, I try to spend some time on the golf course or on the basketball court. Naturally, I’m a big supporter of UVA sports (though you have to learn to like the smaller sports like baseball and lacrosse if you went there), and I’m also a huge fan of the Redskins, Capitals and Orioles.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. I’ll certainly do my best to entertain, but apologies in advance for any bad jokes.
