Emily is the Associate Director of Community Development for the MBA Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. In this role, she focuses on collaborating with student leaders and both internal and external stakeholders on special events and initiatives ranging from community service days to orientation. She leads the department’s marketing efforts, including launching the first social media campaign for the MBA program.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts Emily moved to North Carolina after attending High School in Hawaii. She spent a year studying abroad in England, a summer conducting graduate research in Mexico and a month volunteering in New Zealand in between the two.

Emily’s hobbies include hiking, reading and traveling. She has a passion for cross-cultural learning and is a long-time yoga practitioner. She and her husband and their two daughters, two dogs and cat reside in Hillsborough, North Carolina. They enjoy outdoor activities and spending time at the ocean whenever possible.
