Congratulations to the recipients of the CORE VALUE AWARDS! It was my honor and privilege to present the inaugural awards during the Core Case Competition last Friday. The Core Value Awards were created by the 2nd year Legacy Representatives in conjunction with the MBA Program Office in order to highlight the accomplishments and contributions to the UNC Kenan-Flagler community by the Class of 2013. The goal was to recognize not only EXCELLENCE in the classroom, but also outstanding performance in the areas of LEADERSHIP, INTEGRITY, COMMUNITY and TEAMWORK.
The 2nd year Legacy Representatives reviewed 57 nominations from 38 different individuals (students, faculty and staff) and after grueling deliberation and discussion determined the recipients. The high quality of the nominations made the decision difficult, which is a true testament to the Class of 2013’s dedication to improving the UNC Kenan-Flagler community and student experience.
The recipients for Mods I and II are listed below:
EXCELLENCE (these students demonstrated the highest academic performance in the class in Mods I & II)
Congratulations to all of the recipients and we look forward to nominations for Mods III and IV towards the end of the year.
