The Kenan-Flagler Alumni Career Advisor Network currently consists of more than 1,300 alumni who have volunteered to assist current business school students and fellow alumni with their networking or job search activities. We have heard numerous comments like these from alumni and students about the valuable assistance they have received:
I contacted 6 different alumni I found in the career advisor network. Every single person responded to my email, with several responding the same day. In this difficult economy, it’s a tribute to the school that valuable programs like this exist!
I searched the alumni career advisor network to see if there were any advisors in a particular company that really interested me. I found two advisors in the company and both have been very helpful. I have had lunch with one advisor already and have arranged a phone conversation with another. When you told me that they would be helpful, you weren’t kidding!
I just wanted you to know that alumni career advisors have been incredible helpful to me in my job search. After a very helpful conversation, one advisor asked me to send him my resume so that he could circulate it to several hiring managers that had current openings. I heard back from one of these managers in less than a week and have arranged a time for an interview to discuss a position that seems like an excellent match for me.
